Building illumination
In the detailed design phase, the preliminary design is
developed into a fully executable solution. We refine the planning based on the
requirements of HOAI service phases 3 and 4, coordinate closely with specialist
planners, contractors, and luminaire manufacturers, and, if necessary, develop
customized luminaire concepts.
Our services include CAD planning, lighting calculations
using DIALux evo and Relux, cost estimation, preparation of tender documents,
and comprehensive project documentation.
Lighting mock-ups are carried out to assess the actual lighting effect directly
on site.
Road and pathway lighting
A well-designed exterior lighting system plays a decisive
role in ensuring safety and enhancing the quality of life in public spaces.
It not only provides sufficient visibility but also creates orientation and a
heightened sense of security for all users.
Streets, paths, squares, schoolyards, and cycleways are designed to be safe,
pleasant, and functional through balanced lighting design.
The focus lies on safe traffic guidance, accident
prevention, and the reduction of so-called “fear zones.”
Targeted light distribution can illuminate dark areas and neutralize potential
hazards without overlighting the surroundings or disturbing nearby residents.
The planning of exterior lighting is carried out in
compliance with applicable standards and guidelines such as DIN 13201 for road and pathway lighting.
In addition to functional quality, environmental compatibility is a key aspect.
Modern luminaire systems and precise light control prevent stray light, reduce
light emissions, and protect nocturnal wildlife.
We provide consulting services for municipalities, urban
planners, and engineering offices.
Together, we develop efficient, economical, and sustainable lighting concepts
that reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs — without compromising
safety or design quality.
The result is exterior lighting that provides safety,
enhances spatial experience, and protects both the environment and natural
resources.
